when i do a race in assetto corsa the ai either pit on the first lap or pit on the last lap right before crossing the line. how can i fix this? ive tried the moving the fast_lane.ai file to data and renaming it but that didnt do anything

final lap of the race. im the first onboard. i was chasing the leader down after i spun out earlier on. he is slow into the final few corners so i attempt an overtake and then we collide i save it but he goes on to flip over and die. was i too aggressive or did the AI drive into me?
