Need opinion on placement trainings

Hey everyone,

I’m currently looking at job preparation/placement programs and I’m deeply conflicted between two options. I would love to get some honest feedback from anyone who has taken either of these, or if you are evaluating them right now.

Here is the breakdown of what I’m looking at:

1. Global Interview Readiness (GIR) by Shivam Monk (CA Monk)

  • Price: ~₹6,000
  • Pros/Features: Includes a resume simulation game/technical simulation, access to a highly reputable network, and entry to a domain-specific masterclass (which sounds like a major value-add for technical rounds).
  • Perk: Shivam mentioned we can claim GST input tax credit on this if we want.

2. CAreer Navigator Program by Ankush Chirimar

  • Price: ~₹2,000
  • Pros/Features: At 1/3rd of the price, this feels absolutely bonkers value-wise. It covers almost all the core job prep, resume writing, and interview placement content you actually need.

My Dilemma:

Is the additional ₹4,000 for CA Monk genuinely worth it for the simulation game, masterclass, and network, or does Ankush Chirimar’s ₹2k plan give you 90% of the actual utility at a fraction of the cost?

Two Quick Side Questions:

  1. GST Scrutiny: Regarding the GST claim on CA Monk, has anyone actually claimed input tax credit (ITC) on professional development/placement courses as an individual or unregistered professional? Would this invite unnecessary scrutiny from the department since typically individuals don't claim ITC on these types of career programs?
  2. Discounts: Are there any legitimate coupons, referral codes, or alternative ways to get a discount on the GIR program to bridge that ₹4k gap?

I am dropping the links to both the source YouTube video for Ankush Chirimar and the pre-kickoff batch video of GIR in the comment below so you can see what I mean.

If you’ve taken either of these batches, please guide me on what to choose! Thanks in advance
