How much does 1 gold ingot weigh in this game?

I know I asked about this once before, and I know it’s not really important to the game and might seem like a dumb question, but I want to ask one last time because I’m genuinely curious.

I’m not asking what the actual price of gold was—I’m wondering what “1 ingot” is supposed to represent in the game.

Could 1 gold ingot be 1 kg, with the fact that 1 kg of gold was worth around $57k–$60k in 2023 simply being the reason the developers chose that value?

Or, regardless of the price, could 1 ingot represent one of the physical gold bars shown in these screenshots—the same kind of gold bar shown in the gold photo and icon, with the price being simply a game-internal value? In other words, when you look at these images, does 1 ingot look like one of these exact same gold bars to you? And if so, would you consider it a standard 400 troy ounce (about 12.4 kg) gold bar?

Or do you think it could be something else entirely?

Basically, when you look at the game’s gold screen, what does 1 gold ingot look like to you?

I’d really appreciate hearing any ideas or theories.

What do you think the weight or form of 1 gold ingot is?

Or, regardless of the price, could 1 ingot represent one of the gold bars shown on the game’s main screen—the same type of gold bar shown in the image/icon, especially since the game uses “ingot” as the unit?

Or do you think it could be something else entirely?

Basically, when you look at the game’s gold screen, what does 1 gold ingot look like to you? I’d love to hear any ideas or theories.

How much does 1 gold ingot weigh in this game?

1 gold ingot is worth about $60k–65k in this game.

That seems close to the value of 1 kg (2.2 lb) of gold based on gold prices from around 2020–early 2024.

However, the game specifically uses the word “ingot”, and the artwork shows large vault-style gold bars, which makes me wonder if it’s supposed to represent a 400 oz gold bar (12.4 kg / 27.4 lb) instead.
Then again, a 400 oz gold bar being worth only around $60k–65k doesn’t really make sense. The game’s diamond prices are already highly unrealistic (over $100k per carat), so maybe the gold prices were simply adjusted for game balance as well.

What do you think?
1 ingot ≈ 1 kg (2.2 lb)?
1 ingot ≈ 12.4 kg (27.4 lb)?
or if it looks like some other weight to you, how much would you estimate?
or is it just a game unit with no intended weight?

This is probably a pretty trivial question, but it’s been bugging me for days.

Got the go-kart in Chapter 2

Just found out you can get the go-kart as early as Chapter 2. I got it before I even started riding bikes. It’s insanely convenient, and getting it early saves your fingers from all that button mashing
