Im in Stanford dorm and am wondering if my computer will fit on the desk that they have there and if there will be an outlet close enough. Also if anyone knows how much people bring desktop computers and a laptop with them?
I’ve been looking at the cost of the textbook access program compared to buying the books outright and it’s a lot cheaper just to buy them, but on my required books there are two that are listed as coursepacks without any actual names of books listed within them. How do I go about buying these?
The day after move in day it says it’s for students and families, would you say that your family has to go or is it a more optional thing?
Im an incomming freshman and am gonna be in Stanford hall and have never been inside to tour it. I know they are communal, buthow much privacy do the showers have? Also is there anything I should bring that is shower related that you wouldnt typicall think of?
I took 6 dual enrollment classes in highschool and my final grades for them are on my actual highschool transcript that got sent, so they have my grades for them and everything. Im just wondering becuase I have to spend $15 if I want to sent my transcript from my dual enrollment college to Villanova.
Also if anyone knows this, when do you get your assigned roomate if you went random?

My major is Economics and I don't need to play games on it, I just want it to be fine for class and stuff like that. Im not that good with computer related stuff and I think it meets all the requirments that the school posted but I just want to students opions. If this kind of post isn't allowed here my bad.
I got invited to apply for STOVS this summer and am wondering if anyone here has taken it and can answer some questions. How beneficial to you was it? Do you think its worth the 3 weeks? And what exactly do you do?
Do I just go random roomate or do I try to find someone in communitas doing the same topic as me. For reference I want to Faith and Reason.
