I feel like I'm lagging behind a lot in terms of practice... But whenever I try to sit down and study I either fall asleep, zone out, feel hopeless or end up doomscrolling.

I mean I kinda get it but obviously you can't fully master something if you don't practice.

I've tried many times last year to not get distracted by making to do lists, priority lists, even tying my to do list on my hand, writing my tasks on my hand, keeping a diary for progress, associating an object i carry around all the time (like my phone or a necklace) as a reminder to do my tasks, writing it in front of me, using pomodoro, other timers, checklists, temporary motivations and all, but nothing works.

I genuinely have no motivation for any task (no subject, hobby, activity etc) which is why the only option I had (after months of trying to get that motivation people talk about) was to try to force myself to study by the above things... but nothing works for long. I don't know.

I've achieved flow while studying only 2 times and that was 2 years ago. Otherwise its usually when I draw.

I find no motivation in my dreams they're just hopes. I don't really have any particular interest too so I just went with science and all. Not like I'd be interested in any other thing either. This is okay for me, better than the other options, I think.

So how do I ditch distractions/ get motivated/ study fr? Do yall hv any similar experiences?

I just got in 11th and its been a month but I feel like I'm lagging behind a lot in terms of practice... But whenever I try to sit down and do something I either fall asleep, zone out, feel hopeless or end up doomscrolling.

I've tried many times in 10th to not get distracted by making todo lists, priority lists, even tying my todo list on my hand, writing my tasks on my hand, keeping a diary for progress, associating an object i carry around all the time (like my phone or a necklace) as a reminder to do my tasks, writing it in front of me, using pomodoro, other timers, checklists, temporary motivations and all, but nothing works.

I genuinely have no motivation for any task (no subject, hobby, activity etc) which is why the only option I had (after months of trying to get that motivation people talk about) was to try to force myself to study by the above things... but nothing works for long. I don't know.

I've achieved flow while studying only 2 times and that was in 9th. Otherwise its usually when I draw.

I find no motivation in my dreams they're just hopes. I don't really have any particular interest too so I just went with jee prep. Not like I'd be interested in any other thing either. This is okay for me, better than the other options, I think.

I somehow managed to get 97+ in 10th because well, you don't have to study as much, and even though I couldn't build consistency, my many attempts/efforts for consistency, although in no way contributing to it, worked in some stupid way.

So how do I ditch distractions/ get motivated/ study fr? Do yall hv any similar experiences?
