My girlfriend went on a girls' trip and her stories aren't adding up. Need some perspective.

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some outside perspective on a situation with my girlfriend that’s been bothering me. She went on a summer trip with four of her friends (5 girls in total). She told me they met a group of guys there and hung out with them every night, but insisted it was just "friendly socializing."

However, several details have come out that feel like major red flags to me:

The "Shared Bed" Incident: She told me that one night, she and one of her girlfriends went out with one of these guys. Since his accommodation was supposedly "too far," he ended up sleeping in their room. She says he lay in bed between her and her friend. She claims he tried to kiss her neck, but she rejected him and went out to the balcony where the other friend was smoking.

The Photos: I saw a photo of her walking around the apartment in just a bra, holding a bottle of alcohol, while these guys were around. Her excuse was that "it’s basically like a swimsuit, what’s the big deal?"

The Best Friend’s Comment: When she got back, we were out for coffee with her best friend. I was mentioning a night out I had, and the friend blurted out: "Trust me, her summer trip counts for 10 of your nights out." Later, when my girlfriend confronted her about it in front of me, the friend quickly retracted it saying, "I was just joking." It felt very rehearsed.

The Contact: Despite the guy supposedly "crossing the line" by trying to kiss her, she still had his number saved in her phone after she got back.

Post-Trip Attitude: Since returning, she’s been complaining about how "boring and slow" life is at home compared to the "excitement" of the trip.

I feel like I’m being told "trickle truth"—giving me just enough information to explain away potential rumors, but hiding the full story.

Has anyone dealt with something similar? Does this sound like a classic case of "what happens on the trip stays on the trip," or am I just overthinking it?
