Hey guys, I just got into UCSD SPIS. I was invited to apply through an email and I applied and got in with scholarship money. However Im a transfer student and they still let me in?? I’m a bit confused and I gave them my details that so am I still allowed to participate. If so is the program worth it. Thank you!
One of my conditions for acceptance at UCSD is Remain in good academic standing in your last regular term with at least a 2.00 GPA for UC-transferable coursework for that term.
my home college is dvc and I am taking classes at dvc. I have a good gpa in those classes
howveer I am also enrolled in foothill college which is quarter system spring which ends later then dvc. What counts as my last regular term. To add the only class im taking is non transferrable at foothill. Would I be okay dropping this course if it counted as my last regular term ?
Hey guys! I am a Dvc Student planning to transfer to UCSD this Fall. I took a spring course at Foothill and signed up on the last day to do a TAU which was Sunday March 15th. I signed up for ACTG 51A Intermediate Accounting 1, and I found that as an option to select as a class when doing the TAU so I selected ACTG 51A. When signing up online it also says the class is called ACTG 51A Intermediate Accounting 1 so I assumed that that was the class when putting it on the TAU
Fast forward and I get accepted into some UC's and I am ready to sign my letter of intent to register so I look at my unofficial transcript for Foothill and the class says ACTG FO51A Intermediate Accounting 1. I called Foothill College about it and they said it was the same course as ACTG 51A. My main concern is that UCSD will look at my transcripts and see the discrepancy between the course code of what I reported and what is on my transcript and recind me.
If anyone knows if it is okay that I reported as ACTG 51A instead of ACTG FO51A as it is the same course according to Foothill or if any Foothill student knows why the codes are different when signing up online vs on the transcript, please let me know. I emailed admissions about it and am waiting for a response. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!
