Long story short. Bought a 2016 chevy malibu 1.5 to fix and flip. Ended up replacing the solenoid that controls oil flow pressure. Fixed the check engine but the car likes to stutter and turn off on reverse and first gear whenever i feather the gas pedal. Ended up doing the whole PCV valve replacement and I just wanted to ask, what genius came up with doing that under the entire valve cover. Then make the whole process to take off this particular valve cover a 5 hour job? Had to clean up the pcv hoses afterwards and still got the stutter but won’t shut off now. I haven’t driven it besides around the block since i changed the pcv and cleaned the hoses so im hoping the engine just needs to get some freeway speed for it to be good. Any tips if it keeps the stutter?
