Finally I finished this book (Sophie's World)
This was the first book I started reading a year ago that made me a reader, though I dropped it many times without knowing why
Today I finally finished it
This book is best for those who want to learn philosophy from scratch, it covers all Western philosophy from the Pre Socratics to twentieth century philosophers
It has been a great journey and I am a different man now compared to when I started
I wonder what Sophie is doing after the end of story
My rating 9/10
You Lived in 1984 world, Which Pill Would You Pick
If you’ve read George Orwell’s 1984 and lived in that dystopian world, which pill would you pick and why.
I would choose No Pain because in the end, they control people through suffering and unimaginable pain, so No Pain is a good option, However I think they would still use psychological fear or other tactics to control u, Until u have both No Fear and No Pain, u cannot truly resist Party control but in reality there is no way to escape their control over people
She is no more
She is no more
It has been three years since she died
We studied in the same class for years in the early years, we both had so much academic rivalry but we never hated each other and idk when this rivalry convert in lovely friendship
somewhere deep down we both liked each other and we both knew about it but we never proposed to each other Ig we just never felt the need to, we were not into relationship, we never dated, no breakup or cheating nothing like that ever even came into our minds, we were just together
We never expressed our love, but we cared deeply about each other, I used to like scratch her back (she was a asmr paglu) and she complete my notes and other writing stuff (buz I hated writing)
In starting we started talking more and sometimes we talk all night
And on a random day I just asked her
Shaadi karenge mere se
Then there was a moment of silence but then she gave me a nod and said tere se nhe krungi to kisse karungi
About nine months after that she fell ill, then one day I suddenly heard that she had been moved overnight to another city for treatment
I wasn't able to meet her much during that time, and I was simply not ready to accept that anything bad could happen to her
I remember the last time I saw her (but mujhe pata nhe th wo last time h) I just looked at her and wondered how I ended up with such a girl she was so wise, reader, mature and truly kind
I couldn't speak to her much buz I wasn't alone with her at that time I remember as I was leaving the room she was looking at me with lifeless eyes Idk what was going through her mind at that moment finally she gave me a little smile and raised her hand with her fingers up to say bye, jo ke wo hamsa karte the she used to say tata, but I had no idea that it was going to be the final tata... the final goodbye
It has been almost 3 years now days my life look like, from home to work and work to home
At first I could hardly believe that I would never be able to see her face again, My heart felt like something was missing from that area
I never cried in front of her but I cry every day whenever I think about her
I never prayed for her buz I am an atheist type person, I know there is no heaven in the sky, she is dead and there is nothing after that I am not going to meet her again from today until the end of time
We never had a physical relationship i never even kissed her I only held her hand a few times Yet, I would give everything I have to anyone who could bring her back just so I could hold her hand again
On my way to Jantar Mantar but I coming alone and I want someone to join me

Me after knowing that you can't Read more then 2500 books in your lifetime
So if u read 2–3 books a month u can't read more than 2500 books in your whole lifetime (and that's even if you live up to the age of 80)
Life is too short 😭
Just finished "A Man Called Ove"
So, I finished this book today
I don't have a ton of words to say buz I'm still processing it,
but I can tell you this is one of the best books I have read this year
This book explores friendship, love, childhood, community, and a man called Ove who follows the rules no matter what
[SPOILER WARNING]
Here are the best lines and quotes that I liked:
• Ove saw the world in black and white. But she was color. All the color he had.
• Falling in love is like buying a new house. At first you love it because it seems perfect. True love happens later, when you learn all its flaws, quirks, and secrets that make it your home
If you're thinking about reading this, just give it a bloody try. :)
Finally diving into the world of Munshi Premchand
Time to see why everyone loves his writing.
Suggest me an easy Urdu novel
So I can read Urdu, but it's a bit difficult for me to read, Do you know any good Urdu novels that are short, easy to read and beginner friendly?
Should I read next part?
So I completed the first book of Percy Jackson, and the ending sparked my interest, should I read the next part? Is it worth reading?
Which one should I read next?
Can't decide which one to start next, Which would you pick?
Option 1:
Doing 6 exercises in one day for a single body part.
Option 2:
Training 2 body parts in a day, doing 3 exercises for each.
For example:
For chest — on Monday I do exercises A, B, and C.
On Tuesday, I do exercises D, E, and F.
In both cases, the total exercises are the same.
So, which version is better?
