Vacation maybe turning into my dream
Currently on vacation with a small group of 4 (I'm the Only Male) and the vibe has been surprisingly good lately 😭
We all talk about pretty much everything, joke around a lot, stay up late talking, chill together all day etc. One person in the group is talking to someone they met recently though and ngl the situation feels kinda weird from the outside. Constant calls, asking where they are, wanting pics/videos all the time, getting oddly specific about stuff… idk. Even someone else in the group mentioned it felt a bit controlling.
Anyway, the main reason I’m posting:
This trip kinda made me realize how much I’d actually like to experience real closeness with someone someday. I’ve never really had romantic experiences before and being around good energy like this made me think about it more than usual.
At the same time I can’t tell if I’m just enjoying the overall atmosphere or if there are actual vibes between me and someone here. There’s good eye contact, easy conversations, comfortable energy, small moments that feel meaningful in the moment, but nothing directly flirty either.
How do you usually tell the difference between genuine interest and just feeling emotionally connected/comfortable around someone?
