Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out how to use this space (see the images created in the IKEA planner) as both a living room and a bedroom.

The situation is that I only have two rooms in the apartment, and I’d like to dedicate one of them as a kids’ room in the coming years. That leaves only this room (for reference, it’s about 6.8 x 4.2 meters). One of the shorter walls is already occupied by the kitchen area (sorry, I couldn’t mark it properly in the IKEA planner, therefore the funky furniture :DD).

The images also show the correct placement of the windows (the big one leading to a balcony) and door. Do you have any ideas on how to arrange the furniture? Ideally, I’d like to have:

  • a TV/lounge area
  • some kind of dining area (for 3 people/2 adults and one kid ideally)
  • a place to sleep

…while still keeping the zones functionally separated somehow. Do you think that’s possible?
