My culinary skills are entirely too good to keep enjoying in solitude.

My culinary skills are entirely too good to keep enjoying in solitude.

I cook almost every night to unwind. It’s a ritual I love, but there’s a recurring glitch in my system, no matter what I make, I always end up prepping enough for two.

It’s been six years since my last serious relationship. I’ve done the work, built a life I’m proud of, and fully embraced my independence. But as I plated dinner tonight, it hit me there’s a distinct difference between being content on your own and being ready for a great partnership.

I miss the quiet intimacy of cooking for someone I care about, taste-testing over the stove, and unwinding over a shared meal.

I’m in no rush, but my heart and my kitchen is officially open for the right person. Until then, my fridge will just have to accept top tier leftovers.

Anyone else living a great solo life, but keeping a seat open at the table for the right one?

Offered her food, got promoted to grandparent. Meet the balcony squad!

Two months ago, a sick, starving stray wandered up to my flat. I fed her and took her to the vet—only to find out she was pregnant!  pregnant cat emergency! 🐱❤️

I’m not a fan of keeping pets caged or chained up. I believe in total freedom. So I left the door open and told her she could go wherever she wanted.

Out of the whole city, she chose my balcony as the safest place to give birth.

Now her little family is growing under my roof, and I feel so blessed. She was given 100% freedom to leave, but she chose to stay with me. I didn't just adopt a cat... I got adopted by a whole dynasty! 🐾🥹

Thaughts for the Night

Hey guys,

Just lying here watching the fan spin, listening to the quiet, and feeling that heavy, familiar weight settle in.

It’s weird how you can go through the whole day busy doing your work, talking to people, making jokes, getting stuff done and then night hits. The phone goes quiet, the world shuts down, and it feels like it’s just you and your thoughts in an empty room.

As men, we’re so often expected to just keep moving, keep producing, and stay strong. But sitting here in the dark, it’s hard not to realize how isolated things can get when you stop running. You realize how rare it is for someone to ask how you’re actually doing and really mean it.

Not really looking for advice or pity, just wanted to put this out there in case anyone else is staring at their ceiling tonight feeling the exact same way. You’re not the only one awake.

Take care tonight, everyone.
