Here is my Mediterranean World Cup concept, Italy and Egypt 🇮🇹🇪🇬🏝️

Here is my Mediterranean FIFA World Cup concept, Italy and Egypt 🇮🇹🇪🇬🏝️

This would honestly be an incredible World Cup between two football powerhouses of the Mediterranean Sea. These two countries would make a very dynamic World Cup duo, uniting the world to watch the tournament at the loudest, most passionate football fans in the world. The streets would be absolutely roaring with stadium energy and create amazing summer vibes. It’s a great opportunity for people to visit the Roman colosseum, watch Italy vs Uruguay, then easily travel to Cairo to sit by the pyramids and later go watch Egypt vs Norway the same day and see both opening ceremonies while having a fun summer.

Here are the elite stadiums that are capable of hosting this World Cup concept (may include future stadiums and stadium seat renovations)

Italy 🇮🇹🏖️🌊:

  1. Stadio Olimpico - 70,000+ seats
  2. Nuovo Stadio Milano - 71,000+ seats
  3. Stadio Della Roma - 60,000+ seats
  4. Stadio San Nicola - 60,000+ seats
  5. Stadio Diego Maradona - 55,000+ seats
  6. Allianz Stadium - 41,000+ seats
  7. Stadio Gigi Riva - 45,000+ seats
  8. San Siro Stadium - 75,000+ seats

Egypt 🇪🇬🏖️🏜️:

  1. New Capital Stadium - 96,000+ seats
  2. Borg El Arab Stadium - 86,000+ seats
  3. Cairo International Stadium - 75,000+ seats
  4. Al Ahly Stadium - 64,000+ seats
  5. Al Alamein Arena - 40,000+ seats
  6. Suez Canal Stadium - 40,000+ seats
  7. Air Defense Stadium - 40,000+ seats
  8. Alexandria Stadium - 40,000+ seats

All stadiums with lower seat numbers could be easily renovated

Since the 2030 World Cup (including Spain, Portugal and Morocco) has been set already, combining Italy and Egypt would gain massive votes from both European and African countries to lock the bid in. Also, there are many direct flights from Italy and Egypt. A flight from Rome to Cairo would be as short as 2-3 hours (way shorter than a flight from Los Angeles to New York in the 2026 World Cup), making it very easy to fly around. This also protects players by removing any jet lag issues as Egypt and Italy are both within the same time zone.

None of these countries have to into massive debt either. Italy are already upgrading their venues for the euro tournament, and Egypt’s stadiums are already built and operational. They would only have to do some renovations to their stadiums but this is already instructed by FIFA every tournament. The two countries go well together as Italy can’t host alone and need stadium help, and Egypt have good infrastructure but need some help from a European powerhouse to win votes and help with stadiums. Italy are also Egypts top trading partner in the EU, not only that, they also have a very deep bond between each other politically.

If pulled off correctly, this could be the most culturally rich World Cup ever made. Both countries ARE capable of hosting the World Cup, which is great as it means it doesn’t need a third host to overcomplicate things. This also solves a lot of logistical issues.

Let me know on your thoughts of this concept and if you have any improvements for it

Here is my World Cup Egypt turkey greece concept

This would honestly be a very cool concept I think Egypt turkey and Greece do make a great World Cup hosting trio. They have some of the best and loudest football vibes in their cities. They have amazing looking stadiums that are in the middle of their cultural cities giving them a very cool atmosphere and if there actually is a World Cup in them the cities around would be roaring with vibes. Especially if the host matches are within these three stadiums in photos I sent.

Egypt 🇪🇬:
This country is absolutely covered in the most passionate football fans as shown in their Egyptian premier league and Egypts fifa World Cup matches. They have one of the largest football stadiums in the world with almost 100k seats. Their streets during a World Cup period would be peak to see especially in their opening match. Here are their some examples of stadiums:
- New adminstative capital stadium (96,000+ seats)
- Al ahly stadium (64,000+ seats)
- Cairo international stadium (75,000+ seats)
- Bourg Al Arab stadium (86,000+ seats)

Turkiye 🇹🇷:
Same as Egypt, they also have one of the most passionate football crowds in football history, their football chants in their opening match would be historical to watch and they also have a lot of Mediterranean styled football stadiums surrounded by their European styled buildings. I can tell this would be a fun place to visit when the World Cup period is going on, absolutely vibes and energy love the idea of this country hosting. Here are examples of their stadiums:
- Tüpraş stadium (50,000 seats)
- RAMS park stadium (50,000 seats)
- New Ankara stadium (51,000 seats)
- Atatürk Olympic stadium (85,000 seats)

Greece 🇬🇷:
Same with Egypt and turkiye, their vibes absolutely match a World Cup hosting country and similar to other hosts they have peak Mediterranean cities where their stadiums stay in. As seen in the first photo, they have very beautiful stadiums near the water. Same as the other hosts they would also have some of the loudest streets ever in football. Considering their experience in hosting the Olympics this would be very fun to see them host a World Cup. Here are stadium examples:
- OAKA Olympic stadium (75,000 seats)
- Georgios Karaiskakis stadium (45,000 seats)
- new panathinaikos stadium (40,000 seats)
- new toumba stadium (40,000 seats)

Of course a lot of these host stadiums would need renovating and also removal of their running tracks, but it is all doable. I think if pulled off correctly it could be a historical World Cup and it highlights the footballing passion for these nations and their wonderful stadiums. What are everyone’s thoughts?

My World Cup 2030 64 team World Cup group stage predictions

What do you guys think? Any nice matches you would watch? Any favorite groups? Any group of death? What are your thoughts.

I think my favorite groups are:
Spain
Egypt
South Korea
Greece

Netherlands
Norway
Algeria
Uzbekistan

At first I thought a 64 team World Cup would have too many boring, now that I’ve made this it doesn’t seem so bad.
