Hello guys I was restricted yesterday and since then I am anxious after reading how people have been restricted for 7 months.
I was asked for proof of funds which I did provide as I received money from relatives in EU as a gift. But yeah that got me flagged, I was not buying crypto with all the money I did buy crypto stable coins USDC through Coinbase, I was transferring money to my other account when I got restricted.
Currently, my account shows that after 7 days my account will get a decision after the restriction.
I am scared of 2 things I read how people get there accounts close by revolut and get this CIFAS marker, or worse of all get there accounts restricted for 7 months with €80 compensation.
It’s the first time something like this has happened and with a bit more than £2k it’s even more frustrating. What will be the best possible to get out of this situation swiftly or what shall I expect ( preferred advice from someone who has been through this and how long it took for you to get your account back).
