I had an idea
So basically I was curious what the minimum plasmid and weapon/equipment was and it spiraled into a possible new speedrun category, I would love to see someone attempt it
Bioshock 2 low weapon%
- Minimum Pickups: If a weapon or plasmid can be bypassed to progress the story, you must leave it on the ground. Do not pick it up.
- Upgrades Allowed: Upgrades at "Power to the People" stations and "Gatherer's Gardens" are fully permitted.
- Original Tonic Slots Only: You may use Gene Tonics to supplement your small inventory, but you are strictly forbidden from purchasing extra Tonic Slots. You must beat the game using only the original starter slot count.
- Camera Perks Allowed: All passive combat buffs and tonics unlocked natively via the Research Camera are permitted and do not increase the item count.
- Alternate Ammo Allowed: All specialized ammo types (Heavy Rivets, Trap Rivets, Trap Darts) are fully permitted.
- Glitchless: No out-of-bounds clipping, wall-breaks, or physics exploits (e.g., body-flying via Telekinesis) are allowed. The game must be played natively through intended triggers.
- If you acquire a non-mandatory weapon or plasmid (whether accidentally or intentionally), you must immediately reload your most recent save. This file must be an autosave from the immediate level where the pickup occurred. Utilizing a manual save or a save from a different/later level to clear your inventory is strictly prohibited.
thats the rules if yall were curious
