I’m a university student working on an applied data analysis project.

I built PromptLab, a Chrome extension for ChatGPT. It analyzes a prompt in the ChatGPT input box, suggests a clearer and more specific version, and lets users choose either the original or improved prompt.

After checking the ChatGPT response, users can leave a simple 1–5 satisfaction rating.

The goal of my project is to analyze whether prompt improvement is related to user satisfaction.

Privacy note:

PromptLab does not store full prompts or ChatGPT responses. It only stores anonymous metadata such as:

- whether the improved prompt was used

- before/after prompt specificity score

- satisfaction rating

- anonymous user/session ID

- whether the flow feels natural

- whether the improved prompts are useful

- whether the privacy explanation is clear
