Greetings,

I own a MSI Katana 17 B13V (which i regret by now, dont worry, id have rather gotten a legion)

Now im deciding between Llano v10 and v12, and stumbled over the weird air intake on the bottom, not sure what to do.

My biggest problem is with the openings on the outer edge exposing the heat pipes, which will sit right on the foam if i place the laptop in the center. But when i try to include them in the cooling area, the foam will likely block the exhaust vents on the back and side (and it likely wont work anyways, too much offset).

Would it be actively harmful to the hardware to block the openings on the edge, or just cause reduced cooling benefit?
