2013 Mitsubishi Lancer with about 90k miles. The car doesn’t have a typical fuel gauge, just a digital bar graph showing total fuel, and an average distance to empty.

Lately, the distance to empty is shifting constantly, jumping up by 30-50 miles, or plummeting down 30-50 miles, all while I’ve been driving consistent speeds (Not going from highway to city in a day). The bar fuel graph also was dropping much quicker than before, losing a small chunk after i’d driven only 10 or so miles.

Any idea if this could be engine related and my car is actually using more fuel, or could it be related to the sensors that read my fuel level? Thanks guys!
