I just started playing yesterday. Correctly I’m in the F2 session and I’m at 5 from 14 races. It’s already so much fun to play that game. I hope for F1 27 that we get the same detailed carrier than in the F1 session. Am I the only one hoping for that?
I wanted to try out some racing game so I got on pritondb to look which games are playable on Linux before buying it. Than I saw that F1 2019 is Platin rated so I was buying it for 40€ on steam. Took ages to download because of my internet at home. Finally it was downloaded and I wanted to play. I switched all Proton versions to get that game running but it doesn’t start. In ProtonDB everyone is saying that it works OFTB when switching to older Proton versions. Now I’m sitting here with money wasted. I tried it all. Updating, scanning the files, switching all Proton versions but it won’t start. Is ProtonDB really that trustworthy? Am I to dumb for getting it running on Linux ? Two days of trouble shooting and still it doesn’t run. I’m even thinking of going back to windows again. I’m getting tired because it’s not the only game that should work but dosent run on my PC. Really, if anyone has some tips what I could try out to get it running would make my day better. Otherwise is will return to windows, even if I don’t want to because I’m tired. No hate, just pure sadness
