Qoves app review- total waste of money bigtime.
Extremely disappointing experience with the QOVES app and overall platform. Ugh hated it. Took 78 days to get results. They recommended fillers and threads and made me feel like crap. The concept of objective facial analysis and aesthetics education is interesting in theory, but the execution feels overly reductive, algorithmic, and at times psychologically irresponsible. Human beauty, facial harmony, ethnicity, aging, and individuality cannot be meaningfully reduced to a rigid scoring system and crowdsourced internet ‘science.’ What have we turned into?!
My biggest concern is the culture this type of platform can foster, particularly among younger users already struggling with self-esteem and body dysmorphia. There is a fine line between education and obsession, and unfortunately many corners of the looksmaxxing space blur that line completely.
The app also creates an illusion of authority that may mislead consumers into believing they are receiving legitimate medical or aesthetic guidance when nuanced facial analysis should be performed by highly trained professionals with real-world clinical experience—not generalized app metrics.the guy who made it is a Pakistani photo retoucher posing as a medical expert and refers to himself as a previous model?!?! I cannot! He designed it to pull data that is already available on the web and also reducing everyone to a celeb face! Horrendous!
Aesthetics is not a video game. Faces are not math equations. And people deserve far more thoughtful, individualized guidance than what this platform appears to offer.
