Hi all, my cat was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. I have some referrals to a few vets that do the treatment.

However my biggest concern is the aftercare. I know cats need to continue to be isolated for an extended period of time after the treatment. No sleeping on your bed. No interaction with other cats. Disposal of their poo in a special way.

I live in a small 500 sq foot one bedroom. I don’t have a reasonable way to isolate one of my cats for an extended period of time.

I’m curious how other folks in the nyc area with small apartments have done this.
