Well, I wanted to ask you. Today, at the meeting, my family was asked to sign some papers that said something like, "I consent to the Watchtower using or having my data."

My mother told me it's so that "those apostates don't bother us, so they don't say, 'They have the data of your followers,' and sue us."

They asked me if I wanted to sign, I had to say yes (I tried to avoid it anyway) since, as my mother is a publisher and I'm in school to read the Bible or something, I don't have any more "privileges" than that

Why exactly are they asking for this? Is it a legal battle or something?
