Switching Fields. Need advice
Hey guys! I am starting my 4th year for my B.S(Research) degree in Physics. In the first 2 years of my college, I was working on pure research in Astrophysics and was interested to pursure a career as researcher. Due to some reasons I decided to switch to aerospace, as this is a field I really am interested in and it complements my ambitions for future.
I recently completed a two year long research project in Astrophysics. Now, I aim to do M.Tech in aerospace either in India or abroad. For the same I am preparing for GATE Aerospace 2027. Since I specifically don't have an experience in any aerospace field yet, I wish to take up a project in a related domain as my 4th year thesis project. Any advices on what domains can offer a good starting point, given I have strong python/computational background, and how do I approach professors from IITs or from colleges abroad for my thesis co-guide, as my college doesnt have a faculty that works in any remotely related fields as well. Also, keeping in mind that I would need this project when applying abroad for Masters in Aerospace
