Seye clinic - honest review

I did NOT receive any discount/incentive for this review. I went to visit Seye clinic on Monday 4th May, after reading some of the negative reviews on here I was getting a bit anxious and started to question whether I had made the right choice. To be honest I am surprised by the amount of negative feedback on Reddit as I had a very pleasant experience.

First of all their pricing is very transparent, it's all on their website and they published their May event pricing well in advance which I found very helpful to plan ahead. A lot of clinics only publish the event pricing pretty much when that month starts, which wasn't practical for me as I was visiting Seoul at the start of the month. My friend went to Ppeum Global and I found the pricing to be very similar while the experience at Ppeum definitely sounded much more factory-like and less personalised.

When I arrived at Seye clinic it wasn't crowded and the lobby looks very nice. The staff was friendly, I probably waited about 20min for my consultation to start. I had a good idea of what I wanted and my budget, the consultant listened well and was not pushy to upsell. In the end we agreed on:
- Onda Face: 60kj
- Thermage FLX Eye: 450 shots
- Wrinkle Botox (Xeomin): 2 areas (Glabella and Crow's feet)
- Square Jaw Botox (Xeomin)

The same doctor (Dr Min-Hyuk Lee) performed all my procedures which I liked. It's only been 1.5 week so some of the results of the treatments I did will need time to start to show, but I can already tell the changes of the wrinkle botox especially. I live in Singapore and have tried 3 different doctors here for botox injections, but haven't found a doctor I love because I find that often my forehead movement looks a bit funny afterwards and a few times I have experienced minor eyelid ptosis This time around my forehead movement looks normal and my eyes look more lifted (which I don't think can be the result of the Eye Thermage yet). The Onda treatment also wasn't painful for me while I have friends who visited other clinics telling me that Onda hurt a lot for them.

Overall the communication was also very easy, all staff on WhatsApp, the translator who joined me for the consultation and the doctor spoke English well. I also liked that they make it very easy to book with them online, I have found with some clinics that for foreigners they only allow you to book through third party websites.

The only other clinic I have been to in the past is LV plastic surgery where I did Ultherapy 600 shots and Juvelook Volume (undereye and nasal labial folds) two years ago. But I felt the experience there was somewhat underwhelming, especially the results of the treatments while they charge a more premium price.

My personal experience was very positive at Seye and I will happily go back. Thought I'd share in case it is helpful to anyone researching the overwhelming Seoul skin clinic space.
