I'm in Cambodia doing research for a year and decided I should get a camera. I've become hyperfixated on the fujifilm x100v which is normally at least 1800 USD new but I found a secondhand store that is selling one for 1200 USD with a 2 month service warranty. My dad thinks I should buy a camera with more "diverse capabilities" but I'm not trying to take fancy photos. I like what I like. Anyway, do I buy it? Also, I'm an amateur photographer.
TLDR; do I buy an expensive second hand camera I love or a newer one with a reliable warranty I like less?
