Help please.

Hey everyone,

I recently graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Public Policy, and Law. During my time in the U.S., I gained some practical experience, including working in tax and audit, collaborating with law enforcement, and completing certifications related to compliance because that’s the field I ultimately wanted to pursue.

I’ve spent a lot of time building what I believe is a strong CV and applying to jobs in compliance, fraud prevention, risk management, and related fields. Unfortunately, I’m not getting much traction, and honestly it’s becoming draining and frustrating.

One of my biggest challenges is that I don’t have professional connections or a network in Saudi Arabia. I’m trying to get my foot in the door and build a career, but it feels like every position requires experience, connections, or both.

For those who have been in a similar situation, what would you recommend? Are there specific companies, graduate programs, certifications, entry-level roles, or networking strategies that helped you break into compliance, risk management, fraud, governance, or related fields?

I’d genuinely appreciate any advice. Right now I’m feeling a bit lost and trying to figure out the best path forward.

I would love to connect with anyone that is in Saudi Arabia Riyadh about the job market and make new friends! Thanks everyone stay safe!
