Why is everyone so shallow?
I genuinely cannot take it anymore. Everyone just seems to be so superficial that it drives me mad.
It’s especially exhausting when you are an unfortunate looking person. Growing up people would single me out, avoid me, people even said I look scary! My whole life, I’ve been derided and treated as if I were an experiment rather than a human. I’m as ugly as sin itself, but at least sinning is fun. The internet has done no favors. I mean you’ll see average looking people get dragged through the mud! Saw this one guy, who didn’t do anything wrong, post their face once. Just one time. You would have thought he executed puppies, but no, he just wasn’t considered attractive. Everyone has crazy standards, unrealistic outlooks, and superficial desires. The internet and its consequences on the zeitgeist of the contemporary world have been disastrous. It has only served to exacerbate humanities flaws. AI will most likely make it worse. Lucky us.
