Rockrider ST120

Buying Rockrider ST120 today — would love Decathlon/Pune folks to weigh in before I pull the trigger

Hey all, finalizing my first MTB purchase today — the Rockrider ST120 (27.5", 1x9, disc brakes, 80mm front suspension).

My use case:

Fitness, not trail riding

Weekends: 20-30 km rides

Weekdays: ~5 km for errands

I'm 5'5", so sizing between S and M

Why I landed here:

Wanted lightweight + solid build, not flashy

Decathlon felt like the more reliable/tested option vs newer D2C brands (OMO Bikes, Cradiac) — better track record, in-store test rides, and after-sales service

1x9 drivetrain is fine for me since I'm not doing steep climbs

Has anyone here used the ST120 specifically for daily fitness + errands rather than actual trail riding? Curious about:

How it holds up on regular tarmac/city roads for 20-30 km stretches

Whether the 1x9 range ever feels limiting on flat city rides

Any maintenance gotchas at the 6-12 month mark

Also open to being talked out of it if there's something better in the same ballpark (~20k) I'm missing. Thanks!
