Hey everyone so a few months ago I got a Hakko FX-951 station used from someone that came with a beat up tip but still working like butter so I delayed getting new tips. I recently got a J and regular tip and my J tip is just working against me and always gets dull right away no matter what I do to keep it up I use flux and rosin core solder and always clean with a brass wire sponge after every few solder joints.

I feel like I’m going crazy waiting for it to just magically work as well.

Any advice or help is appreciated.
