Thoughts on this career path as first year uni student in AUS

So for context, the reason im considering this path in the first place is im currently very directionless on where I want to work. So how about this,

Currently Im just about to finish my first semester of a physio degree. Imo physio isnt really my interest but its tolerable and I dont hate it, pay in the future looks alright but nothing special.

My plan is to pivot 1 or 2 years after I graduate, which I could do by when im 21. Now where I pivot to im not too sure, maybe bachelor of economics or commerce? I feel that allied health has much better job security and demand currently so by doing this, im setting up a backup certification in case the finance journey doesn't work out - i currently loath the idea of networking and bootlicking and excel spreadsheets, but who knows, maybe I'll be fine with that in 5 years.

As for student costs, this i suppose would add up as my current course would be around 40k to finish, but I can sort of deal with this by working a part time job while studying and living with parents to avoid rent.

Has anyone ever done this sort of career change? I know some people who've swapped into my degree after doing a med sci or biomed degree and not finding jobs, but rarely for job security purposes
