Hi all,

Me and my spouse applied for adjustment of status, package was received by the Lewiston TX Dropbox on 4/15, and my case was received along with receipt number via email and text, and ACH was taken from my bank account 2 days later.

However, almost a month passed, my wife’s case has still not been received, without any receipt notice or number.

What could have happened? What could we do at the moment? Could USCIS rejected the case? Or is it just very backed up at the moment? I heard it is typical of uscis to split the case up but couldn’t find any supporting document about how long it takes after principle applicant receive their case.
