I’ve seen a lot of speculation that Rose would be more a mom to Rutabaga than Bella, because her and Edward would be so obsessed with each other.
While I could play along with those speculation, but something I’ve been seeing lately that Bella is an absent mom and even comparing her to Renee confused me.
Not as like a speculation headcanon thing but saying she WAS absent and just not interested in being a mom to Ratatata. But where is there evidence of that?

They’re in the middle of prepping for a war and her inner monologue is constantly worried about Resentment and finding normalcy for her so I’m trying to see where this view comes from.
