Time and Dedication~
So, I spent the last week or two making an unexpectedly huge Señor Lápiz plush because I was so desperate to actually own a plush of him, especially the official one which I have no possible way of getting at the moment because I'm from the US and the plush is only available in Chile. Yes, I'm aware proxies exist, but every latin american/international shipping proxy i've looked at doesn't have Chile as one of the main destinations to ship from, I'd rather have one confirm that first and have it in their list instead of winging it and assuming they could try to do it.
He stands at approx a foot or less than a foot tall which is pretty big, I've never made a plush this big before and when I realized how large it was gonna be while making it, it was a big surprise. It took up almost an entire bag of stuffing and there was no way I was having my mom run into Walmart for another bag to use for the limbs and just incase I needed more so I ended up stuffing part of his body with stuffing from an old chair cushion my dog had ripped apart that she was gonna throw away, telling her not to throw it away was a smart move in this instance LOL.
Not upset about it at all, it gives me more Lapiz to hug~ There was some trial, error, and staying up late working on this, had to trim the legs and resew some parts but it all turned out good in the end and it was worth it all! Was gonna trim the arms too but I left them longer on purpose just so he could give me a hug, it feels so real and I feel so nice when he does it djrjekehsdkrhejehe
The second pic is a necklace I made at a school expo yesterday, it was gonna be a bracelet but with all the letter beads on it and the length of the string it was just about necklace sized and fit around my neck comfortably so I made it that.
