I just wanna say that I use Logic Pro X rn.
Personally, I make a lot of different styles, but mostly underground trap some sorts of R&B and soul and a mix of heavy metal stuff. Plus, remixes.
What I’ve been finding is that when it comes to the rest of my things they’re either hit or miss depending on how well I do personally or how good my grasp of music theory is on that day. But when it comes to like the underground trap it never sounds like what I’m going for. When I say underground trap, I mean like k3, osamason, Ken Carson, homixide, Che, slayr, type production. Or even something like Lil Tony, B6, or ealuhri or any other underground street artist i’m always struggling to make the style. I go online and go to YouTube and I try to like learn and grasp it, but it doesn’t sound like how it should. And it’s even more difficult because when I try to find tutorials for logic, there aren’t any for this kind of stuff. All the tutorials are for FL and it’s like nobody who uses logic is making this kind of stuff. The ones that were ended up stopping years ago.
What I’m basically trying to figure out is am I tripping? Should I just stick with what I know or should I just switch to FL and try to relearn with the system. Could the experience actually have an impact?
