My (33m) go-to intro is usually "hey (name), how's your week going?" Or similar. My approach is treating women like people, contrary to my co-workers advice of trying to spark something off-gate.
Regardless if any conversation follows, I eventually get hit with the "good wbu" bullshit or one-liners. Doesn't matter how genuine I'm being in trying to get to know them or thoughtful in my responses.
I just don't have the energy for this shit. I'm not down for wasting time fluffing their ego or feeding their external validation with compliments.
I think i give off more boring husband vibes than something exciting and boyfriendish.
Thoughts?
