Saucy Gems, aka Samia Khan..is TRULY A Khan ARTIST. I have been working with her for over 3 months and will now be filing a dispute with our credit card company because of her lack of professionalism and shady business practices.
It started when I first found her account and thought she was a sweet personality based off of what she presented herself to be online. My boyfriend at the time, now fiance proposed to me and presented me with the opportunity to design the ring of my dreams, this is where Samia Khan artist comes in to place. I reached out to her because she had posted a very, very pale pink diamond that I fell in love with and wanted to design my engagement set around. My fiance and I were ready to pay for three rings in full, which we did. We paid for 1 loose diamond, 1 engagement ring setting and 2 wedding bands. Paid in full in good faith that she would be taking the best care of us given the type of purchase this is and amount spent that was paid in full up front. Every step of the process was an actual nightmare straight from hell. I need to preface this by saying she is just a “drop setter”, essentially a drop shipper for jewelry. She does not have any qualifications for an actual jeweler. She is not a
Gemologist, she is not a bench jeweler, she’s does not even make her own CAD’s for the pieces she claims to “create”. She calls herself a “custom jewelry curator”. She admitted all of these things to me in our email threads when we began going back and forth. She stated the stones came from over seas, the Middle East to be exact. She said she couldn’t show me a CAD at the time when I asked for a revision because her “designer” was off that day. Unfortunately I had to learn all of this the hard way after starting this process with Ms. Khan artist. She originally promised a 3-4 week turnaround time for production of these 3 rings. It has been an ongoing issue, one after another for well over 12 weeks and counting. She gas lit me every step of the way when nothing was done correctly or when there was any lack of communication from her as far as any updates on or rings. My engagement ring was the first of many issues. The diamond itself looked nothing like the diamond I was promised. Instead of a very pretty pale pink diamond I ended up with a bright neon highlighter pink colored diamond. I would then come to find out she had completely manipulated the photos & video with lighting to make the diamond appear as something it actually was not. Not only that but then the diamond did not sit flush in the basket. I told her that would not work and would compromise the integrity of the ring and well as the integrity of the 4.01ct diamond itself. Then when I told her my issues she brushed it off like there were no major red flags. So she attempted to adjust the diamond to sit better in the basket and in doing so caused the engagement ring along with the wedding band to not actually sit flush. This was after her showing me false evidence of them sitting flush AFTER the alteration by keeping them at the tip of her finger to make it appear as though they sit flush, when in all actuality they did not sit flush once properly putting them on the finger (which was why I decided to create a set, to guarantee they sit flush). On top of that the engagement ring prongs were completely off and the diamond just looked forced in there and not properly reset. At this point it had been about 6-8 weeks into the process and my fiance still had not seen his actual wedding band (mind you we were quoted 3-4 weeks). When we actually did get to see it, she knowingly and willingly hollowed out the men’s wedding band (without our knowledge and totally not in alignment with the CAD we were given for his ring) she did this so that it would have less gold weight to it…in a further attempt to maximize her profit margins. When we brought this to her attention she said she would have it taken care of. Instead she took his 14k wedding band we paid for and simply slapped a very thin layer of 10k gold on the inside of his band where it had been completely visibly hollowed out, and never actually filled in with 14k gold as per the specs of the CAD she provided. Once we received the ring and noticed this we weighed it and it was bouncing between 7-8grams on the scale WITH a 10k hallmark, when we paid for a 12.5 gram band of 14k gold purity. At this point we are completely upset and have been tainted with one bad thing after another with Ms. Khan artist. AGAIN we brought this to her attention and she said she would look into this matter with her team. She then later came back and said she had directed them to fill it in instead actually recasting a new ring, and that the 10k hallmark was wrong because it was actually 14k gold. We don’t even know what to believe at this point because she made the executive decision behind our backs to cover this hollowed gap with a thin layer of gold without actually properly recasting, IN THE CORRECT GOLD PURITY. AGAIN..in an attempt to further maximize her profit margins. According to the CAD she provided 7-8grams isn’t even the proper weight for 10k and we decided to change the gold purity (WHICH WE DID NOT, NOR WAS IT EVER DISCUSSED) but 10k should have actually reflected 11 grams worth of gold, not the 7-8grams we were actually presented with. We are now currently trying to find a resolution with Ms Khan artist and she is refusing to provide a full refund for all these issues. Needless to say, we will be escalating this matter with our credit card company. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT GIVE THIS KHAN ARTIST, AKA SAMIA KHAN, AKA “SAUCY GEMS” THE OPPORTUNITY TO KHAN YOU. SHE IS NOT A GEMOLOGIST, SHE IS NOT A BENCH JEWELER, SHE DOES NOT CREATE ANY OF HER CAD’s, SHE HAS ABSOLUTELY NO QUALIFICATIONS TO BE IN THIS LINE OF WORK. SHE THINKS BECAUSE SHE HAS A BIG TIKTOK FOLLOWING THAT SHE CAN MAKE A QUICK BUCK OFF OF AN INDUSTRY SHE HAD NO LEGITIMATE QUALIFICATIONS OR REAL PASSIONS FOR.
