I'm looking for a TikTok I saw about 1-2 years ago. Here's what I remember:
- Two real people (friends) are in the video — one is showing the other a series of old photos or home videos from their past
- In each one, a creature has been digitally edited into the background. The person showing the photos keeps saying something like **"I added him"** repeatedly as they go through each image
- The creature is **not animated** — it looks like a practical costume or suit, similar in style to **Frank the Rabbit from Donnie Darko** (humanoid, suited creature) but it is NOT Frank the Rabbit
- The video has a **Donnie Darko** feel to it — the creature seems to have been present throughout the friend's life and has been subtly influencing/changing past events
- The changes to the past are **positive/helpful** — the most memorable moment is that the creature apparently **saved the other person's dad**, meaning in the edited version of the past, their dad is still alive
- It is NOT a comedy sketch — it has a more sincere, emotional or eerie tone
- It was on **TikTok**, not animated, live action
- Donnie Darko Style
