City of Toronto Hiring Timeline
I applied for this City of Toronto Job in November, I heard from them to complete the initial assessment in early January, completed an interview in early February and received notification that I was successful and got invited to submit my references at the end of February. I submitted it a day later and my references got notified and completed the references by mid April. I got an email on April 30 to chat for an update on my application which I let her know that I won’t be back until May 6 and we can connect the following day when I am back. She responded on May 5 saying she will discuss more over the phone and we will chat when I’m back from vacation. I haven’t heard anything since May 5th, I’ve left a voice message and sent emails to follow up. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if I should anticipate an offer at this point. I heard about the various cohorts of applicants but I am nearing the end of May without an offer so I am wondering if it is based off location vs a general cohort.
