A friend of mine just got a starlink mini for his RV.

Whats the difference between pausing and paying the $10 dollars a month vs cancelling. Is their any reason not to cancel when not using it during the off season.

Lets say he uses the RV between March and October, but not every month. Lets say he just happens to use it in March, June, August and October. Should he pause it for April, May, September and then outright cancel it between November and March.

Is their any downsides to cancelling outright every year vs just paying the standby fee
