Dunu Koto Ito vs Dunu 142
Eyeing both these IEMs but unsure which one would suit me better. Anyone input is appreciated especially if you have hands on experience with these IEMs.
From what I’ve gathered online is that both these IEMS focus on bass but the ITO does so more. But the 142 does a better job with technical details, separation and imaging which makes it better suited for wider selection of genres. I would say that most of the music I listen to incorporates a good amount of bass like alt rock, emo, midwest emo and screamo. If I had to guess I’d say at least 50%. But I also enjoy a lot of other genres like folk, electronic or shoegaze so I’m scared that maybe the bass of the ITO would be too much. I think that the 142 would be better in that aspect as it’s a better all rounder. The 142 is $55 more then the ITO which I don’t know if its worth the upgrade even if it is better.
Rapid fire questions:
How do these IEMs handle quiet acoustic tracks?
How do vocals sound in these IEMs?
How do these IEMs handle sparkly music or layered music with lots of instruments?
