I bought a fast pass for 4 people from the kiosk. I got 4 pieces of paper printed out and thought i got all. We went to the ride. Attendant scanned 3 passes. The 4th one was actually a receipt and not a fast pass but looked very similar with QR code and all. We went to guest services and they could not print the 4th fast pass. We went to another shop they pointed us to and they could not help. We ended up not using any of them. We went to guest services again and the store and none can refund.
Anyone experience same thing about fast pass not being used?

Does any ride require completely empty pockets, or can I have a phone and wallet with me on even the most strict rides?

On the opening night of the event itself, the Montclair Tribune announced that a voice that could tickle a funny bone as well as chill a spine would howl above the witches and ghosts at Knott’s.

It was the third annual Halloween Haunt—the first widely billed under the emerging name Knott’s Scary Farm. The original host, Larry Vincent (“Sinister Seymour”), had died earlier that year. Wolfman Jack, co-host of NBC’s Midnight Special and still riding American Graffiti, brought his “Shock and Rock Revue” and a 24-person entourage to the Mystery (Good Time) Theatre for the four-night hard-ticket run, October 30–November 2.

“I have alot to howl about,” he said. “We re really going to keep that cauldron burning… not less than three Shock and Rock shows per night.” A mystical, musical extravaganza mixed with magical illusion, developed exclusively for the Haunt. Shows at 7:30, 9:00, 10:30, and midnight on the busy nights, included in the special-event ticket.

He had just come back from London and Frankfurt, where the American Graffiti soundtrack and the film itself had been well received. Rock in all its varieties, he said, was getting better-than-ever reception around the world. And if you were happy, you made others happy—and that made Halloween a lot of good, clean fun fo’ all the folks.

Usually I’m a big fan of Knott’s Scary Farm but when I went on Friday, I was so shocked and disappointed by how hot the mazes were. It must’ve been in the 80s outside at night and the mazes were significantly hotter than outside. I was simply walking through in a tee shirt and jeans, and could not fathom how hot the scare actors must’ve been in their costumes, masks and makeup.

Went last night and was eaten alive by mosquitos!!! Use repellent if you’re a tasty treat for skeeters. I’m allergic and woke up early this morning in tears covered in itchy angry welts. Otherwise it was the best!! My first time going and I’d go again :)

Does anyone else sometimes have difficulty navigating mazes? I was in Mary anf it was so dark I missed the turn and walked into the wall at the dead end. Then, when we were in Widows, two guests popped out of the backstage area and were questioned by a scare actor, so I assume they got lost and accidentally went through a backstage door. Then my friend came very close to doing the same thing in Origins.

Is there a way for them to make the transitions more obvious to make the pathway easier to navigate?

Was thinking of going tomorrow with kids under 10. How unbearable is it with this heat? Is there shade and a/c areas? Will we be miserable all day?

I’ll be there on Friday and just curious since I’ll have the Fast Lane for Knotts Scary Farm
