Went last night and was eaten alive by mosquitos!!! Use repellent if you’re a tasty treat for skeeters. I’m allergic and woke up early this morning in tears covered in itchy angry welts. Otherwise it was the best!! My first time going and I’d go again :)
So as I left for class this morning I swear I heard a flock of parrots flying just a block or two from my parked car. I could see them silhouetted against the sky but couldn’t make out any markings-those squawks and screeches were pretty unmistakable tho… my question is: has anyone seen parrots around HB like near the downtown area? I know they’re in Santa Ana and Costa Mesa already with established territories..
As the title suggests I need some help cleaning my 500 sq ft apt. Like walls and baseboards. It’s not dirty it’s just that I’ve lived here over ten years and want some help with the bigger stuff. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Has anyone enjoyed a sandwich here lately? I used to love going in for soup or a quick lunch and of course the pastries are always such a treat.. but lately I have noticed that the portions have shrunk wildly and the panini I picked up yesterday had only one slice of deli ham and three little slices of tiny pickles (chornicon?)!! Half the fries were hot and crispy and the other half were cold and hard. The pastry was still perfect lol gotta love the chocolate opera bars there. I love this place and I was hoping others could share their recent experiences at Pandor. Thanks neighbors.
Anyone notice that there seems to be zero fireworks going off here this July? Usually sounds like a war zone bout this time of night but I’m not hearing or seeing anything! And I’m right by downtown.

As the title suggests, I’m looking for a little rolling cart to get my Hobie sit atop kayak in and out the water and from the top of my car and all that. I’m a 5ft 4 gal about 110 lbs and it’s an unwieldy shape that kayak of mine! It’s hard for me to pick it up because it’s so big even tho it’s only about 40 lbs. the kayak is the older older version from Hobie they’re pretty long but I love how heavy it is and how it tracks in the water.
