Not the prettiest photo but it sure was tasty. Me personally I would have loved a poppy seed bun. Wasn’t a big fan of the coleslaw. Can’t go wrong with a baked potato. Needed some salt and pepper.
So far I’ve tried the ribs and now sausage. Looking forward to my next meal there.

Thursday night dinner at Boardwalk. I went with the tri tip, roasted potatoes, free cornbread, and a drink.
I like my Tri Tip more on the medium/medium rare side but for themepark tri tip this was pretty good. Good seasoning and flavors, some fatty parts which I loved, potatoes with good seasoning, corn bread a bit dry but I still enjoyed it. I didn’t check the price and that’s on me but this meal was pretty pricey. My employee discount shed off $8 and some change so I ended up paying about $20 and some change.
Went for a run last night and caught the sunset. Absolutely beautiful.
Inked had the highest wait time last night. We clocked it at 45 min wait. The posted wait time was 60. We didn’t see the wait time for Unearthed but clocked it at 30. But I can already tell Inked will be the house this year for the longest wait time.
Inked: Never in my years of attending Knott’s Scary Farm have I walked through a maze like Inked last night. It wasn’t scary compared to the others mazes BUT it’s set design, costuming, and different feel from the other mazes ( including previous years ) is what sets this maze apart from the others. Its uniqueness had me wow’ed last night. Whoever came up with this idea of a cartoon/ cartoonist made I applaud you for your creativity. A solid and strong 9/10 for me.
Unearthed: After experiencing Mary last year and Boogeyman as well ( which i loved ) I hoped the Knott’s Scary Farm team gets more into mythological/urban legend mazes so when I heard of Unearthed it instantly captured my attention. Upon entering the excavation site you’re instantly met with ancient Egypt theming and the mummy itself. Not only do you have to worry about the mummy but you also have other trouble but I really don’t want to spoil that for you. Unearthed with its amazing theming to ancient Egypt, its attention to detail to Egyptian folklore, and the different scare scenes is what makes me wanting to go back to that maze more and more. A strong and solid 10/10 for me.
These are just my opinions and my own ratings. I’m very excited for all you to experience these two mazes. Cinema slasher was my number one last year and I think it has some new competition! See you all in the fog

Finished up a nice 3 mile run and ended at the pier. Got some coffee at bogarts and was able to enjoy some live music as well. Caught the tail end of a beautiful sunset as enjoyed listening to the waves crash.

Wish me luck everyone! Just submitted for Hotel F&B. I’m hoping for the best. 2023 I unfortunately didn’t get anything so hoping this time it goes my way and working F&B ( Hotel ) at the Disneyland Resort has been on my mind for quite sometime. Hopefully my current table service and other restaurant positions catches their attention.
If I make it to the phone interview stage do any of you have some advice ? What do they usually ask and how should I approach. Thanks again!!

I’ve done storytellers a handful of times and only Goofys kitchen twice.
Storytellers: Brunch twice and Dinner 3 times.

I wonder in the future if they’ll have a new buffet. Surely Disneyland forward I’m assuming a new hotel maybe ? And a new buffet.
My parents and I decided on Red Robin for dinner when we saw a Red Robin commercial come across the tv. I went with the Jalapeño heat wave with garlic Parmesan fries. Wow, that hit the spot. The burger was damn good not gonna lie. The burger consist of Grilled jalapeño and caramelized onions, pepper jack, smashed avocado, fried jalapeño coins and green chili aioli on a brioche bun. It paired so well with their delicious honey mustard! And the onions rings were very good as well. Kept asking for more of that campfire sauce. And since it’s bottomless fries we took some home when we asked for the bill!
I finally stayed at all three Disneyland resort hotels!
Summer 2024 and summer 2025 we stayed at the Grand Californian Hotel. In 2024 I booked us a partial view and we had slight views of the pool ( 2 night stay Friday & Saturday ). Then in 2025 I booked us a woods court view but they upgraded us to a downtown Disney view ( 3 night stay Friday-Sunday ). We loved the American craftsman theme and how it made us feel like we were in a lodge. Storytellers for brunch and dinner were super good but very very pricey! Craftsman Grill was also a good option, the sticky chicken wings are amazing. We loved the luxury feel mixed with California nature/ national park vibe. The proximity to downtown Disney and DCA/ Disneyland was is the best. We were a bit tired and very hot from being at the parks and wanting to get back to the room to rest a bit was super convenient. Since we were by the pool and downtown Disney we didn’t hear much noise. The pool area was beautiful. Swimming in all three pools being surrounded by lush greenery really elevated the feel of wilderness. It was also cool seeing guests in DCA using the redwood creek trail course from the pools. A few times my family and I did pool service so having snacks and drinks pool side was fun.
Summer 2026 we stayed at Pixar Place with a Pool Terrace Room- Club Level ( Sunday ) and the Disneyland Hotel ( Villas with preferred view ) Monday-Thursday.
Pixar was amazing. The theming throughout the hotel really immersed us in the world of Pixar. We loved our pool terrace room. Super convenient to the pool area as well as the quick service restaurant. We also ate most of our meals at the creators club since we got a club level room. If we weren’t eating at creators club we were at the pool
Area and deck area playing corn hole, shuffle board, and table chess. The pool area was the smallest of the three hotels but also offered a slide area/splash pad. The limited pool chairs would fill up quick.
The Disneyland Hotel brought all the nostalgia. This was the first hotel! It was also cool because on Disney plus we watched an episode on the Disneyland hotel so seeing all the history and imagination and finally staying here was something we talked about ! We are ate at Goofys kitchen and Tangaroa terrace! To be specific, we stayed at the discovery tower ( the villas ) so that 50s/60s feel with Disney flair really caught our attention. The villas also has its own pool and steamboat Willie splash pad. They also offer pool service so my family and I definitely took advantage of that. The palm breeze restaurant was also a vibe, eating right next to the pools definitely brings that resort vibe which we really liked, it was easy to get a res unlike craftsman bar which didn’t offer any res both times but that’s okay because craftsman grill offered the same dishes except a few.
Each hotel is unique in their own way and brings Disney Magic. In my personal opinion, Pixar has the best theming. Most luxurious definitely goes to Grand Californian, and most nostalgic of course goes to Disneyland Hotel.

Sticky chicken wings from Craftsman Grill/Bar
Really good wings, the sauce is a gochujang bbq sauce that’s a bit sweet and tangy. Really good slaw as well. The rice is sticky which I like.
Hi everyone, as the title says, looking for advice. Back
In 2023 I sent in some Food&Beverage applications but never made it past the Web Interview. They asked me
All sorts of questions and I answered as truthful and realistic as possible. As of right now, only fine dining and bartender positions are available but I’ve never done fine dining.
Some background of me: I’ve worked restaurant for 9 years now. I hold multiple positions but now only primarily do two. Those positions are ( Breaker, Food Runner/Expo, Busser, Barback, Server, room service, and Pool Server ). The two main positions I now do depending on the season is server ( sometimes breaker still ), and Pool server. I don’t bartend at all but I do know how to make some drinks such as a mojito, margarita, Paloma, Long Island, AMF, Long Beach, just to name a few. I also have theme park experience ( I work at K notts ), so I’m very much familiar with the themepark industry. My advice is how can I get past the web interview and how can I as an individual stick out.
I ran into a buddy who works utilities ( I think that’s the name for food running ) and he said they hire a lot in September but I don’t know how accurate that it. I also currently work ( a new hire ) with someone at my job now who also works utilities for the grand Californian but don’t see him too often due to scheduling.

Edit: only fine dining and bartender positions are posted but I am keeping an eye out for server, food runner, even bussing ! And when the time comes to apply I’d like to keep in mind some of your advices
