Wife approved chicken sandwich ✔️

Meat from the Hispanic grocery, pechuga de pollo marinada?

Yes I cheated, I did not season them. I just really like how they do it okay.

Grilled the chicken beast up on a classic webber charcoal grill baby. Sorry Hank Hill. Finished with a handful of wet hickory mesquite wood chips just tossed on the coals.

Sliced 'em in a deli slice fashion.

Oooo a couple weeks ago, I got a jar of hamburger dill pickle chip (slices). I tossed in a few dried arbol peppers in and let steep. Pickles came out super spicy, be careful if you decide to try that out.

This was a tasty sandwich, which came out tasting like a Nashville chicken sandwich.

Wife rates it 8/10

(That's honest review or she may have said 10/10 😂)

Girlfriend is hosting a flash day at her tattoo studio and I'm making her some lunch 🥪

This is a variation of my favourite sandwich but just what I had on hand. Don't always have my favourite stuffed olives and fancy pants bread

We have as follows;

Sourdough

Mayo

Iceberg

Tomatoes w/ S&P

Mayo Chicken Pesto mix

Piquanté Peppers

Homemade Pickles (sweet and spicy 👌🏻)

And of course I made one for myself too. Be rude not to. Bit messy but I'm not a professional chef, just an enthusiast

New sandwich unlocked!

I was rather hungry late last night, so I made a sandwich with what I had on hand. It was absolutely delicious. I thought about it all day today and what you see here is my second assembly. It began by draining a tin of sardines in olive oil (the ones I used were lightly smoked which I think lent a chargrilled taste). I split the sardines and let them marinate in a little Salsa Espinaler to lend acid to the dish. Butter the bottom bun and place sliced, raw white or yellow onion down. I took out the middle parts to make a bit of a well in the middle. I then drizzled some Lao Gan Ma spicy chili crisp over the onions, mostly the oil, but use as much or little as you like. I placed the split sardines on top and sprinkled them with sea salt flakes, black pepper, dill, parsley, and a couple shakes of furikake. I had enough fish to do two layers. Then the top bun is mayo, mustard, and lettuce. Assemble the two halves and enjoy! This is an amazingly flavorful sandwich with all the texture! I have named this new sandwich, The Warlock. I cannot encourage you all enough to try this, make whatever variations you like and tell us all about it! Bon appetit!

Dinner for four

11 YO daughter and I made this one last night - mostly her. Yellow mustard, kewpie mayo, romaine, red bell, provolone, Swiss, salami, ham, turkey, chicken cold cuts, tomato, and dill pickles. Fantastic after working outside in the heat all day.

You're gonna have a sandwich

I'm back! Sorry about the absence. Some bloke told me to get around a muffaletta, so with very little research and zero personal experience, figured I'd have a red hot Aussie go.

Sometimes the best part of the hike is the treat at the top

I love getting out into nature and for a good hike, but sometimes I think I plan them specifically for the sandwich at the top

Not my own this time either but it's from Gloria's Deli in Auckland. From bottom to top - lettuce, turkey, ham, salami, provolone, tomatoes w/ a tangy mayo on herby focaccia 👌🏻

I live in southern Mexico where you can’t find Banh Mi, so I made one from scratch (except for the bread)
