Smoked chuck roast with smoked cheddar cheese, mayo, BBQ sauce on a brioche roll - toasted
It was a sloppy boy.

It was a sloppy boy.
Recently got a Woodwind Pro and decided to smoke this leg of lamb hanging out in my freezer. Rubbed it with Za’atar spice and smoked it at 225 until the internal temp reached 135. Unfortunately, power went out at 128, so finished in the oven.
Turned out incredible!
Hi smokers! I was excited to receive my delivery of the Woodwind Pro 24, but like some of you, it arrived with some damage. The interior has some peeling caulk, which is easy enough to replace, but it contains a number of angle grinding marks, obviously hiding imperfections in the stainless steel.
Camp chef said they do not have any replacement bodies to send me, but offered gift credit at their store. They also said this wouldn’t affect the performance of the grill. What do you all think? Could you live with this or am I being overly critical of something I will likely never see again?
I’m pretty new at this, but this is an egg scrambled with blanched kale, purple scallions, and leftover brown rice and quinoa salad with feta and Italian dressing.
