Is there a way to make the Delta 3 max plus make sense when it has an extra battery connected...

My logic would be use the extra battery first then use the main device battery therefore when the extra battery gets empty I can just unplug it go on with my life without a 20kg paperweight attached to my main device.

First time using the D3MP with an extra battery today and the main unit went down to 4% with the extra battery still at 100% then started to use the extra battery... therefore unless I recharge the D3MP the only way I can use it now is to carry round the main empty unit and a 20kg extra battery.

Firmware all up to date etc.
