derealization/depersonalisation/ dissasociation and antidepressants?
starting antidepressants soon, and im worried.
without getting into how much this genuinley sucks ass, I have been in an episode of derealization/disassociation for about about 6 ish years now. nothing in my life feels real ever. I don't really remember when it did feel real, and I know a big thing is 'antidepressants making people feel numb/disassociated.' I really don't want that made any worse than it already is.
obviously I will discuss this with the professionals involved, but I would like to know people's stories around this sort of thing and what might have worked for you because I won't lie, I'm scared this specific mix of issues is going to make me a lost cause or something (and yes I know I'm overreacting with that response, but mental health issues do what they do)
