I just finished MOI, now can someone explain to me why I'm crying. What the heck man???

Even the ending of Deadhouse Gates didn't hit me as hard.

Reading through the series for the first time rn, Halfway through Memories of Ice and enjoying every bit of it. Moving forward would you recommend adding NotME in publishing order the such as Night of Knives after Midnight Tides or should i finish BotF first and read the rest of the books later. Give me your suggestions.
