Practice at home?

Hi all,

I'm more introverted and anxious. I started sonography school but don't talk to anyone. Some of the students seem to already know each other or are in healthcare already and learning a new modality.

I'm brand new to healthcare and I know we will have to practice. I don't know anyone in the city I'm going to school so I don't think I'll get a lot of lab hours or volunteers. I have a relative that might be able to go to lab with me 1x per week.

I saw that some schools give their students tablets with transducers for imaging. Does anyone have anything like that they practice with at home? If so how much does the transducer and app cost?

Can any vegetarians or former vegetarians help me?

I'm 40 and have recently had more deficiencies.

I have been a vegetarian for a long time and my only deficiency was iron now and then, but now I have more. My creatine is low, my b12, my hemoglobin

Some other levels are related to being vegetarian. I think its because its been so long. I'm waiting to get feedback from my doctor but I'm thinking about introducing lean meat back into my diet.

Right now, I'm just taking iron again and b12 from the doctor's initial orders.

I was wondering if anyone had helpful advice on how they did it without hurting their digestion?

I've also been fasting since that seems to keep my weight down, do maybe I just need to eat more.

I'm also in the US, so the quality of meat and what they do to commercial products scares me. I can't afford HQ meat, so if any longtime vegetarians have kept healthy nutrition levels, please let me know some of your favorite meals too that provide iron and b12, do you take creatine supplements?
