Frustration and severe lack of communication

Anyone else frustrated with their OB/GYN and MFM staff’s communication?

I see MFM as well as OB/GYN, through the same parent company (WVU medicine), granted at separate hospitals, but they share a patient portal and to me it feels like they

  1. Never know what’s going on between the 2.

  2. Never communicate to me and my Fiancé what’s going on with our child all we get to know is what we can decipher from the notes on the portal.

  3. I’m 33 weeks this week and have not met my actual OB, I had 3 appointments with her that she/ her office canceled and rescheduled with the NP.

  4. OB office acts like everything is always fine then orders tests and MFM consults through the portal without any explanation or answers. MFM is the same way but slightly better than OB.

Sorry for the rambling but wanted to see if i was completely alone in this. She’s my first and I honestly hope that my next one(if I have another) I’m able to go through a midwife/ birth center.
